Height: 1′-2′ Spread: 3′-5′. This Uncompaghre Plateau selection of manzanita with bright green oval leaves holds its color longer into the winter. It is mid-range in height, has a spreading habit and shows beautiful, smooth cinnamon-red to purplish exfoliating bark. White flowers tinged with pink appear in March to April followed by a dry red berry in September-October. Avoid calcareous/clay soils. Full sun to part shade. Plant Select® 2006. Zone 4.
