Height: 2′-5′ Spread: 2′-4′. A pleasantly aromatic native shrub with narrow thread-like silvery green leaves. Yellow blooms from August to mid-September are followed by showy white seed heads. Medium to fine texture in summer gives way to a coarse texture in winter. Native in elevations of 4000′ – 6000′ from Texas to Southeastern Wyoming. Drought tolerant. Full sun. Zone 4.
