Height: 12′-20′ Spread: 4′-6′. A unique fastigiate form of C. arborescens found at Cheyenne Research Station. An extremely hardy columnar shrub or small tree that could be used for screens or strong vertical statements in the landscape. Glossy sienna brown bark adds winter interest. Yellow, pea-like flowers appear in late spring. Tolerates dry conditions and poor soils. Full sun. Zone 3.
