Height: 6′-8′ Spread: 5′-8′. Dogwood with showy variegated green and white foliage and creamy white flowers appearing in late May. Stems turn blood red in winter. Susceptible to sunscald and dieback during severe winters. Does best in moist shady areas or eastern exposures as it does not tolerate full sun very well. All the red-stemmed dogwoods require periodic pruning of the oldest branches to ensure vibrant winter color. Part shade to shade. Zone 3.
