Height: 24″-36″ Spread: 18″-24″. A coneflower variety with 4″ rosy-purple flowers whose ray petals do not droop like the species. Plant forms a broad clump with rough, rounded dark green leaves. Originally selected from native U.S. plants by Swedish nurseryman Magnus Nilsson near Paarp, Sweden. Tolerates poor, dry soils, but performs best with regular water. Leave dried seedheads for hungry finches in winter. Full sun. Zone 3.
