Height: 7′-12′ Spread: 4′-5′. Tall, coarse-textured clump grass with very long, silvery-white or beige seed heads appearing in late September and holding through the winter. Grass turns brown, tinged with orange or purple in the fall. Prune it close to the ground in late winter or early spring to improve vigor and looks. Plumes work well in dried arrangements. Warm season grass. Full sun. Zone 5.
