Height: 1′-1.5′ Spread: 3′-4′. Excellent broadleaf evergreen for groundcover or for climbing with support. Dark green foliage in summer, turning purple-red in winter. Usually fruitless but can produce a 1/3″ capsule opening to expose a bright orange seed that persists into winter. Considered to be the most hardy of the E. fortunei cultivars. Full to part shade. Zone 4.
