Large, shiny, star-shaped purplish-bronze leaves have a pink metallic sheen to their undersides and form low clumps below 20-inch tall slender stalks of creamy white flowers blooming early summer. Likes fertile soil with regular moisture. Partial to full shade. 1991 Perennial Plant Association Plant of the Year. Zone 4.
