Height: 4′-7′ Spread: 4′-5′. Here is a rarely seen, coarse upright shrub re-introduced from China with interesting mahogany-brown peeling bark and large (10 inch!) white lace-cup type flowers in June-July that gradually fade to pink. This hydrangea is alkaline tolerant and has been winter hardy in Fort Collins since 2007. Part sun. Zone 4.
