Height: 6′-10′ Spread: 6′-10′. Hydrangea with large, conical 6″ to 8″ long by 6″ to 12″ wide flower clusters in July, opening white then aging to a pale purple-pink. Large green leaves give this shrub a very coarse texture. Over time, in a sheltered location, this plant will become tree-like. To encourage larger flower heads prune to 5-10 shoots. Prefers regular water and well-drained soils. Part shade. Zone 4.
