Height: 4′-5′ Spread: 3′-4′. This maiden grass has thin green blades with white midribs that give it a silvery appearance; it is a great accent for the shrub or perennial border. Reddish-bronze plumes appear in late summer, fade to tan and persist through winter. Do not cut back until spring. Best planted in late spring or in summer in moist, fertile soil. Moderate water after established. Warm season grass. Full sun. Zone 4.
