Height: 15′-25′ Spread: 15′-20′. This native to China is a hardy, fast-growing, tree. Small yellowish-green flowers bloom in March-April followed by sweet, edible blackberry-like fruits that mature in June. Fruits ripen to white or pink, but sometimes to darker reds or purple-blacks. Fruits are loved by birds. Beloved by people who grew up or live in in towns with a street named for this hardy, adaptable tree (FoCo anyone?). Full sun. Zone 4.
