Handsome, blue-gray blades form a dense, upright clump with delicate, airy, reddish panicles of seed heads appearing in July; they grow to 12″ to 16″ above the foliage and mature to a creamy-tan in fall. Tolerant of a wide range of soil types and moisture levels; it holds up well, even in snow! Turns yellow to red in fall. A great accent for any garden.
