Height: 3′-4′ Spread: 3′-4′. ‘Shenandoah’ sports wide green blades with tips that turn dark red in summer and stays shorter that most Switch Grasses. The ‘flowers’ are tinged with pink followed by deep burgundy, airy seedheads that match the spectacular burgundy foliage in fall. Prefers a fertile, moist site but can adapt to most soil conditions. Warm season grass. Full sun. Zone 4.
