This selection differs from other dwarf Mugos in that it has a very low-spreading, almost mat-like habit, getting much wider than tall with short, dense, dark green needles. A great evergreen groundcover replacement for spreading junipers in small gardens. May also fill the niche left by the elusive and difficult to get ‘Mesa Verde’ Spruce. Full sun. Zone 2.
