Height: 40′-50′ Spread: 40′-50′. A broadly spreading native oak that is proving to be a good shade tree for our area because it is tolerant of alkaline soils. Attractive glossy leaves turn yellow to russet in fall. So far it has shown resistance to twig and leaf galls that attack Bur Oak. Full sun. Zone 5.
