Height: 6′-8′ Spread: 4′-6′. Species rose: Easily recognized shrub rose with single coppery-red and yellow bicolor flowers. This tall, upright plant blooms with large, flowing masses in June. A rose that has been enjoyed in gardens in Europe since the 1500’s. Because this rose is an unstable sport it may produce branches with all yellow blooms on them resulting in a plant with both yellow blooms and bicolor blooms. Now budded on ‘Lillian Gibson’ for winter hardiness. Full sun. Non-recurrent. Zone 4.
