Height: 15′-20′ Spread: 10′-15′. A much hardier contorted willow from a cross between Salix matsudana tortuosa and Salix alba ‘Britzensis’. This plant was tested in Helena, Montana and also in Brookings, S.D. without any tip dieback. Reddish orange winter twig coloration and interesting corkscrew habit. Branches become somewhat pendulous with age. Prefers moist soils. Full sun. Zone 4.
