Height: 20′-35′ Spread: 20′-30′. A medium sized ornamental tree with great seasonal interest. The rich leathery leaves are oak-like in shape, dark glossy green on their upper surfaces and gray tomentose beneath, turning russet-orange to apricot in fall. Clusters of creamy white flowers bloom in late spring followed by showy bright orange berries in September. Smooth, glossy, sienna-brown bark on older stems. Tolerant of alkaline soils. Full sun. Zone 4.
