Height: 25′-30′ Spread: 20′-30′. Upright habit. Leaves are deeply lobed, looking oak-like, dark green above, white pubescent below. White flowers appear in late spring followed by fruit which matures to orange-red in the fall. Yellow to russet red fall color. Exhibits fire blight resistant and improved tolerance to alkaline soils. Slower growing. An unusual hardy alternative to the typical mountain ash and over time may prove to an excellent tree for the Front Range. Full sun. Zone 3.
