Height: 6′-9′ Spread: 9′-12′. A dense broad shrub that spreads nearly twice as wide as it is tall with long, wispy branches that droop under the weight of its blooms. The medium green leaves are approximately half the size of Common Lilac. Flowers are dark pink and fragrant, appearing in late May into June. Often there is a sporadic secondary bloom in September like “Bloomerang® “. Grows late into the year and could show some tip dieback from an early freeze. A selection from the Cheyenne Experimental Station. Full sun. Zone 4.
