Height: – Spread: 5′-8′. This seedless, pink to red grape has clusters of small to medium-sized berries with a very sweet, strawberry-like, low acid flavor. A great table grape for cold climates as they ripen in early September. Some fruits may contain crunchy empty seed coats. Introduced from an Elmer Swenson numbered selection. ‘Flambeau’ is best grown on trellises instead of arbors as the vine has low to medium vigor. Tolerant of alkaline soils. Fresh eating, juice and jelly. Full sun. Zone 4.
