Height: 10′-15′ Spread: 8′-10′. Rocky Mountain native that can be grown as a finely shaped large shrub or small tree. Handsome light gray bark and upright habit with light green leaves turning yellow in the fall. Bright red buds add winter color. Native habitat is along moist slopes or along streams throughout the Rocky Mountains. Full sun to part shade. Zone 3.
