Height: 3′-4′ Spread: 3′-4′. This low-growing shrub boasts lovely flat clusters of pink flowers in late May or June. Good for hedge or foundation planting. New foliage appears as purplish tips on a green background and assumes purplish-red fall color. Best when pruned back after flowering each spring. Very similar to ‘Anthony Waterer’ Spirea but we have observed that Froebel is hardier and stays more compact. Full sun to part shade. Zone 3.
